The evangelical village church Kolkwitz is located in the Kolkwitz district of the Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel community in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .
history
The Kolkwitz village church is centrally located in the village and is of Romanesque origin. It is square and has a barrel vaulted choir . After the Gothic reconstruction of the church tower , the nave was demolished in 1816 . A larger new building was then built to meet the growing demands.
Extensive renovation work has been carried out since 2001.
