The Protestant village church of Kriechau is a listed church in the village of Kriechau, part of Schkortleben in the city of Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt . It belongs to the parish Weissenfels-Nord in the church district Merseburg Evangelical Church in Central Germany . In the local register of monuments , the building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 15351 .

The village church of Kriechau, built in 1883, looks like a building from the Wilhelminian era . The church was built in the neo-Gothic style . However, it is not the first church in the village, it was said that the first church in the village was the branch church of Burgwerben . This was used by the Swedes as a stable in 1641 and was then ruined. The church is also known as the cycle path church .
