The building was extensively renovated in the second half of the 18th century.

Furnishing

  • The late Gothic carved altar is a work from the beginning of the 16th century. It is a triptych with the depiction of the coronation of Mary in the middle part. Otherwise apostles and saints are shown. In the altar block there is a sacrament cabinet that was used to store the sacrament implements; remains of the original version can still be seen .
  • The pulpit was installed at the end of the 18th century; The altar cabinets and the pastor's chair date from the same period .
  • The grave slab of the von Knuth family from 1370 was originally set into the floor. She bears the family's coat of arms. To protect it from further wear and tear, it was installed next to the altar in 1994.

Bells

Originally there was probably a church tower instead of the roof tower, in which two bells from 1527 and 1711 hung. On the instructions of the patron Max Ludwig von Gundlach , they were cast from Waren by Carl Illies in 1860.
