The church

The Pfiffelbach village church (also known as the Trinity Church ) is located in the Pfiffelbach community in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia .

history

The church was badly damaged in the Thirty Years War and in 1718 a fire completely destroyed the building.

The church was rebuilt in the 18th century . The nave received a barrel-shaped wooden ceiling . In the interior, wooden galleries have been built into two storeys. You stand on posts.

The organ is decorated with carvings. The baroque pulpit from 1720 is decorated with the four evangelists and three angels.
