Quaschwitz village church
The Protestant village church of Quaschwitz is in the Quaschwitz community in the administrative community of Oppurg in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .
history
The small contained within a square partial existing cemetery wall church dates from the 12th century nave of the 15th century. The window frames are Gothic . The pointed arches for the entrance door are from 1784 .
The triumphal arch with the tetragram is located above the pulpit altar with the decorated pulpit . A baptismal angel with a baptismal bowl and simple chairs complete the hall and the horseshoe-shaped galleries .
Johann Christian Rebhuhn's organ on the west gallery was renovated in 2002 by the organ building company Schönefeld from Stadtilm .
The small bell in the church tower was cast in Kempten in 1931 .
