Large farms in Quaschwitz

An economic and historical stage was decided in March 1974 with the planning of a pig breeding and fattening facility in Quaschwitz and the surrounding area. The step-by-step commissioning was initiated quickly, and production then began with problems. After the fall of the Wall, the system fell victim to very justified animal welfare and environmental concerns.
