Church in place

history

The first documented registration of the place as Visbach was found around 1071. Neundorf (first mentioned in 1310) was built on the site of the former town of Visbach, whose huts around the lower village pond, according to Richard Mendner, may have fallen victim to a fire. The hall church, which is today mainly Baroque , goes back to a Gothic church from the 17th century. The 700th anniversary of the town took place in 2010.
