The Protestant village church of Rehmen is in the district of Rehmen in the municipality of Oppurg in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

history

With the documentary proven date in 1786 the renewal of the existing around the 15th century should worship meant. There are figures from the 15th century in the church. The altar table was moved to allow a view of the figures. The crucifix and two other figures from the 15th century have been lost.

The nave is a rectangular hall with the roof turret over the altar. In the hall, which is covered by a stucco ceiling , there is the crowned altar with a tetragram surrounded by a halo with two command panels under the pulpit ceiling . A baptism and two galleries in the shape of a horseshoe are part of the equipment.

On the west side there is the organ by Justinus Ehrenfried Gerhard with decorated parapets from 1767.

Two bells from 1867 from the bell foundry in Apolda are in the tower . A wall surrounds the cemetery .
