The Protestant village church Trusetal is located in the Trusetal district of the town of Brotterode-Trusetal in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district in Thuringia . It lies sublime in the mountainous surroundings. The associated parish is part of the Schmalkalden parish of the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck .

The exact time when the late baroque church with its slate-roofed church tower was built is unknown.

In the nave a solemn was hall with Rococo paintings created. The altar and pulpit face east and catch the light of the sun. The light enters through the lead glazing .
