Doris Altewischer

Doris Altewischer (born June 8, 1929 in Hamburg ; † February 25, 2019 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and commercial college with the Abitur , she studied at the universities of education in Dortmund and Weilburg . She passed the first and second teacher exams as well as the Montessori diploma . Altewischer then worked in the school service. Until 1980 she was deputy state chairwoman of the Association of German Special Schools.

Altewischer had been a member of the CDU since 1961 and was represented in numerous committees. a. Chairwoman of the CDU Westfalen-Lippe.

MPs

From July 25, 1966 to May 29, 1985 Altewischer was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She was always elected from her party's reserve list.

She was a member of the city council of Hamm from 1964 to 1968 and from 1973 to 1974.
