Doris Konradi (* 1961 in Cologne ) is a German writer .

Life

Doris Konradi studied economics , German , Romance and Dutch studies after graduating from high school . She then worked as a choreographer and completed seminars for creative writing and screenwriting . She has been writing novels , short stories and scripts since 1997 . In 2003 she received 3rd prize in the short story competition for the Bettina von Arnim Prize. In 2016 she was the winner of the Hamburg city ​​writer scholarship Hamburger Gast . For her story The Mole , Konradi received a 2017 prize from the Ruhr Literature Prize .

Doris Konradi lives as a freelance writer with her family in Cologne.
