Dorit Amann

Dorit Amann (born September 18, 1939 in Hohenems , Vorarlberg , Austria ) is an Austrian stage, film and television actress .

Live and act

Born in Vorarlberg, she received acting lessons from Helene Thimig at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna at the end of the 1950s . Shortly thereafter, the first offers from film and stage followed, where she sometimes played supporting and then again leading roles (such as in the drama Grace for Timothy Evans , where she played the wife of a serial killer). Her early theater stations were Klagenfurt, Bregenz, Basel, Bern, Vienna and Hamburg. In addition to film and television, Dorit Amann also worked for radio . In the series Arpad, the Gypsy she had a continuous role with Hélène. The artist was married to the director Frank Guthke .
