Dorota Siudek b. Zagórska (born September 9, 1975 in Kraków ) is a former Polish figure skater who started in pair skating .

Dorota Siudek began figure skating at the age of five and initially started as a single skater , but then switched to pair skating and competed internationally for the first time in 1994, then with partner Janusz Komendera .

After the end of the 1994 season until the end of her career, her partner was Mariusz Siudek . The couple started for Unia Dwory SSA Oświęcim. Together they became Polish champions nine times in pair skating. Together they contested in the period from 1995 to 2007, with the exception of the European championship in 2005, all world and European championships . They made it onto the podium four times at European Championships. In 2004 and 2007 they won the bronze medal and in 1999 and 2000 they were vice European champions behind the Russians Marija Petrowa and Alexei Tichonow . Zagórska and Siudek won their only medal at world championships in Helsinki in 1999 with bronze behind the Russians Jelena Bereschnaja and Anton Sicharulidze and the Chinese Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo . You played three Olympic Games . In 1998 in Nagano they took tenth place, in 2002 in Salt Lake City in seventh place and in 2006 in Turin they were ninth. After their last Olympic Games, they actually wanted to end their careers, but continued when they learned that the 2007 European Championships would take place in Warsaw. Their last joint tournament was the 2007 World Cup . There they had to give up due to an injury to Siudek.

Zagórska and Siudek are the only Polish figure skating couple that has won a medal at world and European championships.

Dorota Zagórska married Mariusz Siudek in 2000. In 2009 their son was born. The Siudeks now work as trainers in Toruń . You currently look after the British figure skating couple Stacey Kemp and David King .
