The Dosenbek is a northern (right) tributary of the Schwale in Schleswig-Holstein . It flows over the swallow, the sturgeon and the Elbe into the North Sea .
course
The Dosenbek is 8 km long and has its source in the Negenharrie enclosure , which is part of the Neumünster State Forest in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district . The heavily straightened Dosenbek flows around the Dosenmoor on the eastern side, where numerous drainage ditches lead water from the moor into the Dosenbek. Further south, near Tasdorf, it forms the border between Neumünster and the Plön district . It then flows around the fallow fields on the western side and shortly afterwards flows into the swallow of about the same size there.
