Doudou Toure (born December 29, 1991 in Rosso ) is a Mauritanian football player .
Career
youth
Born in Rosso, Mauritania, he emigrated with his family to Gambia when he was two years old. In July 2004, when he was 13, he came to Atlanta in the United States .
There he played in 2004 and 2005 in the youth teams of the Stars Soocer Club , with whose U-17 he won the Atlanta Cup . He was then active in the youth teams of Atlanta Fire United from 2006 to 2007. He attended Joseph Wheeler High School in Marietta , Georgia .
professional
In 2008 the major league soccer club FC Dallas offered him a developmental contract , a low-wage contract for young players, but for bureaucratic reasons it never came into effect. Instead, Toure moved to Mexico for CF Monterrey , where he was active for the youth team and the reserve team in the Primera División 'A' .
In the summer of 2009, Toure returned to Georgia and played a short time for the amateur club Nuesoft Club.
In 2010, after a trial with Columbus Crew, he came to the Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada, who at that time were playing in the short-lived USSF Division 2 Professional League . Toure first played for the reserve team in the USL PDL , in May 2010 he made his debut in the Canadian Championship against Montreal Impact in the professional team and subsequently also played five league games with the professionals. In the 2011 season he is back in the residency squad, but also trains with the Whitecaps professional team, which was accepted into the MLS at the beginning of the season, and competes for the MLS reserve team in the MLS Reserve Division .
