Douglas Emerson

Douglas Emerson (born October 5, 1974 ) is a former American child and youth actor.

Life

Emerson, who previously worked in several television and film productions such as B. Der Blob (1988) was involved, was best known in German-speaking countries through the role of Scott Scanlon in the successful youth series Beverly Hills, 90210 . The character was best friend of David Silver - played by Brian Austin Green - who shot himself with a gun at a party. For this role, Emerson received the Young Artist Award in 1991 .

After Douglas Emerson left the series in 1991 in the second season, he ended his acting career, he attended Pepperdine University and went to the US Air Force . By 2002 he had the rank of staff sergeant and was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico . Emerson left the Air Force in 2003 and has lived in Denver with his wife and two daughters since then .
