Brian Austin Green (born July 15, 1973 in Van Nuys , California ; actually Brian Peter Green ) is an American actor . He gained international fame in the 1990s through his role as David Silver in the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 , which he played until 2000.

life and career

Brian Austin Green was born to Joyce and George Green in Van Nuys, California. He grew up in North Hollywood, Los Angeles and attended North Hollywood High School . Green made his acting debut as a child in the 1985 television movie The Canterville Ghost . To distinguish him from another actor, also called Brian Green, his parents invented the name Austin when Green joined the Screen Actors Guild .

His first full-time commitment as an actor 1986-1989 in the television series Knots Landing . A year later he got the role of David Silver in Beverly Hills, 90210 . The series soon became a worldwide cult hit and Green and the other leading actors advanced to international television stars. Parallel to the filming of Beverly Hills, 90210 Green also starred in other film and television productions such as I Desire Your Son , Sabrina - Totally Verhext! (both 1996) and Below the Law (1997).

After Beverly Hills, 90210 expired in 2000, Green was seen in Las Vegas (2004), Domino (2005) and Freddie (2007). From 2010 to 2011 he played the role of Keith Watson in the television series Desperate Housewives . 2012-2013 he was seen in a leading role in the television series Wedding Band .

Green was dating the actress Vanessa Marcil , whom he met on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210 . They have a son (born March 30, 2002). In 2004 he began a relationship with actress Megan Fox . In February 2009 they separated and broke off their engagement. In June 2010, Fox and Green got back together. They were married that same month on June 24, 2010 in a private ceremony in Hawaii. On September 27, 2012, both became parents of a son. Green also brought his first son into the marriage. On February 14, 2014, he and his wife became parents of a son again. The two announced their separation on August 19, 2015, and Fox filed for divorce two days later. In April 2016, her third pregnancy became known. The father of the son, who was born in early August 2016, is her husband Green. At the same time it became known that the divorce of the two would be suspended for the time being.
