Dr. Otto Kasten Foundation
The Dr. Otto Box Foundation is one of Otto Box 1962 launched Foundation , which awards the Otto Box price for illustrative junior staff.
It is named after the German actor, dramaturge, director and artistic director Otto Kasten. Originally, the foundation was intended to help financially needy or sick theater directors and their relatives. Since public social aid improved significantly in the following years, more funds were available, so that in September 1985 the Dr. Otto Kasten Prize was awarded for the first time.
