Dragan Adžić (born December 13, 1969 in Ivangrad , Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin handball coach who was previously active as a handball player.
Adžić played in his career as a handball player at MRK Budućnost Podgorica , Rudar, Epoksid, RK Buje 53, Borec, Mladost and Rimako. After his career, he initially coached Budućnost youth teams. Between 2001 and the end of 2009 he was assistant coach of ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica . In January 2010 Adžić took over as coach from ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica. Under his leadership, Budućnost won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2010, the EHF Champions League in 2012 and 2015 , and the championship and the cup in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Adžić has been coaching the Montenegrin women's national team since 2010 . Since taking office, Montenegro has won the silver medal and the European title in 2012 at the 2012 Olympic Games in London . Previously, Adžić coached the youth and junior teams of Montenegro. He was in charge of the national junior team, which won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Cup. After the 2016 Olympic Games , he announced his resignation from his position as national coach. In September 2016, however, he extended his contract with the Montenegrin Association. In November 2017 he finally ended his job as the Montenegrin national coach.
