Dragoljub Mićunović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Драгољуб Мићуновић ; born July 14, 1930 in Merdare , Yugoslavia ) was professor of philosophy at the University of Belgrade and chairman of the Demokratska Stranka (Democratic Party) in Serbia.

biography

Dragoljub Mićunović was professor of philosophy at the University of Belgrade and was part of the practice group . He was one of eight people who were expelled from Belgrade University in 1975 for political reasons. In the 1980s he worked at the Belgrade Institute for Social Sciences.

When the Demokratska Stranka (Democratic Party) was re-established in 1990 , Mićunović became party chairman. In January 1994, Zoran Đinđić was elected to succeed him. Later he belonged to a small party founded in 1996 called Demokratski centar (Democratic Center) and was its chairman. However, he was still able to stand for the parliamentary elections in Serbia in 2003 on the list of the Demokratska Stranka. In 2003/2004 he was President of the Parliament of Serbia-Montenegro . In 2004 the Demokratski centar went back to the Demokratska Stranka; Mićunović is currently a member of the party presidency of Demokratska Stranka.

Dragoljub Mićunović is a signatory of the declaration published in 2017 on the common language of Croats , Serbs , Bosniaks and Montenegrins .
