Dragon Age: Redemption is a six-part web series released in 2011 based on the computer role-playing game Dragon Age 2 by the Canadian developer BioWare . It was produced by BioWare in collaboration with actress Felicia Day ( The Guild ) and released from October 10th to November 17th, 2011. The release on DVD followed in 2012.

The action takes place in the vicinity of the city of Kirkwall, parallel to the events of the computer game Dragon Age 2 . The main character is the Elfin Tallis, who works as an assassin for the Qunari. She receives the assignment to capture a renegade Qunari magician, the Saarebas. But the church, from whose prison the Saarebas escaped, sends the Templar Cairn out to pursue him. Together with the elf healer Josmael and the Reaver mercenary Nyree, they pursue the Qunari magician to the Aschenberg, an elven ruin, where he summons demons from the magical plane ("Fade") with the help of the golden mask of Fen'Harel and a blood magic ritual Wants to destroy Kirkwall.

In February 2011, game developer BioWare announced the production of Dragon Age: Redemption in collaboration with Felicia Day . The first episode was released at the same time as the download expansion The Mark of the Assassin for Dragon Age 2 .
