Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a Fighting - computer role-playing game , which by the Japanese development studio Dimps developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment in 2015 for PlayStation 3 , PlayStation 4 , Xbox 360 , Xbox One and Microsoft Windows was released. The game was announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in 2014. In 2016, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows, a successor that will later also be available for Google's cloud gaming service Google Stadia .

Sales figures

Dragon Ball Xenoverse was sold over 1.5 million times worldwide as of March 17, 2015. In February 2015, it was the second most downloaded game on PlayStation Store after Dying Light . In April 2015, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse had sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide. As of February 2016, it was sold over 3.13 million times. By July 2018, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 and 2 had sold over 10 million times worldwide.
