Dragon Half ( Japanese ド ラ ゴ ン ハ ー フ , Doragon Hāfu ) is a manga by Ryūsuke Mita , which was also adapted as OVA .

action

In a fantasy world , Mink ( ミ ン ク ), whose mother is a dragon and her father is a human, faces the problems of the normal everyday life of a teenager. Her best friend is the sadistic elf Rufa ( ル フ ァ ), who never manages to use her skills in a targeted manner and thus usually destroys everything except for the actual goal. Rufa also has a strong sexual instinct and digs at every handsome man near her. She doesn't shy away from women even.

One of Mink's hobbies is music, and so she warms up to popular singer Dick Saucer ( デ ィ ッ ク ・ ソ ー サ ー ). Meanwhile, she discovers that her father was once a dragon slayer who was supposed to kill her mother, but instead fell in love with her and ran away with her. His employer, the king, didn't like this at all and so he wanted to kill his father.

The king supports his own daughter and princess by all means. She is the president of the Dick Saucer fan club and is therefore in direct competition with Mink. As if these problems weren't enough, Dick Saucer of all people is also practicing as a dragon slayer. The "unlucky dragon" Mink taps from one faux pas to the next and thereby unintentionally makes many enemies, which she can usually defeat thanks to her existence as a half-dragon.
