Drazan Tomic (born April 27, 1974 in Berlin ) is a former German basketball player of Croatian origin .

Guard Drazan Tomic, who was born in Berlin, began his career at what was then DBV Charlottenburg. This was followed by an engagement at Alba Berlin from 1992 to 1997 . There he celebrated the German championship and the cup win in 1997. But due to a lack of playing time in the strong Berlin squad, Tomic then moved to Bonn to the Telekom Baskets Bonn . With the Baskets he was able to move into the final again in 1999, but there they lost to his old club Alba Berlin. He then moved to France for one season.

Tomic returned to Germany for the 2001/2002 season. He joined the newly promoted Cologne 99ers and celebrated the runner-up in Cologne in 2002. He was also able to advance to the cup final with Cologne in 2003. This was followed by various positions at home and abroad. Including clubs in Spain (La Palma BC), Poland (Unia Tarnow) and Greece (Kolossos Rhodes).

In 2006 Tomic returned to Germany and signed a 1-year contract with Phantoms Braunschweig . He was never able to gain a foothold there due to various injuries and ended his active career at the end of the 2007 season.

From 1995 to 2003 Tomic was a member of the German national team. He completed 83 games for Germany.

In 2006 he starred in the movie Where's Fred? the Alba player Mercurio Müller.
