history

In 1816/17 this chapel, which is consecrated to the Most Holy Trinity , was built here on the site of a previous Baroque building. It has a small altar, the altarpiece shows the coronation of Mary . The picture was created by the Auerbach painter Johann Karl.

Construction

The chapel is a hall church with a gable roof and a retracted, semicircular closed choir . The chapel is made of sandstone blocks, with the exception of the entrance side being exposed. It has a roof turret with a baroque-style onion hood , which bears the year "1927". In the roof turret hangs a chapel bell that was in the Schlammersdorf parish church until 1958 and was cast in 1938 by the Georg Hofweber company from Regensburg ; it has a weight of 120 kg. Between 1993 and 1995 the chapel was completely renovated, with this renovation being inspired and supported by the local researcher Josef Püttner.
