The Trinity Church is a Catholic church in Lauterbourg in Alsace . The church is protected as an architectural monument ( Monument historique ).

The choir of the church, built in the Gothic style , was built in 1467 during the time in office of the Speyer bishop Matthias von Rammung . The roof and organ of the church burned down in the great city fire in 1678, whereupon the church was restored and rededicated in 1683. In 1711 the church was too small for the increased population, so it was torn down except for the choir and replaced by a new building in its current form, which was completed in 1716 and consecrated in 1719. In 1779 an organ was obtained from Ferdinand Stieffell in Rastatt. During the French Revolution , the church was temporarily secularized. A complete renovation took place in 1878. The church was damaged during World War II . Today's church windows were created by Jean Gaudin from Paris in 1950 . In the 1970s and 1980s, the church was renovated inside and out.

The historic mission cross , which dates back to the 15th century, is located by the church .
