Why do we, as soon as we have started to live, become boring, gray, uninteresting, sluggish, useless, unhappy ... "

Reviews

Carolin Weidner from Spiegel Online explains that in Dreissig everyone keeps their real names, suggests a certain identification, perhaps with the characters, but above all with the illustrated intermediate phase: "A phase in which you are now a bit strained look like when you meander wildly and exuberantly through Berlin. " Thirty also surrounds something monstrous in this tense situation, Weidner continues.

Jens Balkenborg from epd Film writes, Dreissig capture the feeling of life at the sound barrier that for many marks the transition from young to settled, the 30th birthday. The plot-free film follows the border crossers for one day and one night: "Dramaturgical idleness is the narrative principle." That might be exhausting at times, especially later when the cacophony of nightlife dominates the hustle and bustle and loud music and voices overlay everything, but it does it is a clever strategy with which Simona Kostova says: "Look carefully."
