Drew Robert Larman (born May 15, 1985 in Canton , Michigan ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League since 2009 .

Career

Drew Larman began his career as a hockey player in Canada's top junior league, Ontario Hockey League , in which he was active for the Sarnia Sting and the London Knights from 2002 to 2005 . With the Knights he won the J. Ross Robertson Cup in the 2004/05 season . As an OHL champion, his team then took part in the Memorial Cup , which they also won.

On September 28, 2005, the right-handed shooter received a contract with the Florida Panthers as a free agent without ever having been drafted . In the 2005-06 season Larman ran for Florida's farm teams , the Florida Everblades from the ECHL and the Rochester Americans from the American Hockey League , before making his National Hockey League debut for the Panthers the following season . In total, the American scored two goals in 16 NHL games. In the 2007/08 season , the center played another six games in the NHL, but was then only used in the AHL. On July 13, 2009, Larman signed a one-year contract with the Boston Bruins .

In 2011 he ended his career.
