The Jyrgalan River ( kirghiz Жыргалаң Dschyrgalang ) is a tributary of the Issyk Kul -Sees in Kyrgyzstan ( Central Asia ).

The Dschergalan rises in the northeast of the Terskej-Alatau . It initially flows north, later turning west. He passes the place of the same name Dschergalan . From the left it takes up the tributaries Ter-Bulak , Dscherges and Aksuu . It flows into a bay in the southeast of Issyk Kul. It forms an estuary delta . The Dschergalan has a length of 97 km. It drains an area of ​​2070 km². The mean discharge is 21.8 m³ / s.
