Tyler Jacob Moore was born in October 1982 in the small town of Urbana , Illinois . He has been mainly active as a television actor since 2005. Moore achieved greater notoriety with the role of Tony Markovich on Shameless and his role as Pastor John Tudor on GCB .
Moore dated his fellow actress Emmy Rossum from 2011 to 2013 , with whom he also has a relationship in the series Shameless .
