Juna , real name Jewgenija Juwaschewna Dawitaschwili , (born July 22, 1949 in Urmija, Krasnodar region , † June 8, 2015 in Moscow ) was a Russian astrologer and spiritual healer .

Life

Juna, born in 1949 as the daughter of an Iranian and a Cossack from the Krasnodar region in southern Russia, trained as a nurse. Then she came to Moscow, where she initially worked for a planning authority.

She soon gained a reputation as a "miracle healer" among politicians and celebrities. The group of people who made use of their services in the 1980s included Leonid Brezhnev and Eduard Shevardnadze , but also artists such as the musician Vladimir Vysotsky .

In the late 1980s she was briefly married to the composer Igor Matvijenko .

After the end of the Soviet Union, Juna began to perform in public. In 1990 she founded an "Academy for Alternative Sciences" and appeared on television. After her son's accidental death in 2001, she largely withdrew from the public eye.
