Dušan Čamprag

Dušan Čamprag ( Serbian - Cyrillic Душан Чампраг , born March 15, 1925 in Ada , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian agronomist and entomologist .

Life

From 1946 to 1951 he studied at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Belgrade , from 1952 to 1956 he worked at the Institute for Sugar Beet Research in Crvenka . From 1957 he was professor of agronomy entomology at the University of Novi Sad , where he met with a thesis on 1,961 weevils as pests on sugar beet doctorate .

From 1962 he was assistant professor, from 1969 associate professor and from 1975 full professor at the Institute of Plant Protection of the Agricultural Faculty of the University of Novi Sad. He retired in 1982, but continued to do research.

He was elected a full member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in 1991 ; since 2004 he has been an external member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences .
