Dušan Mandić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Душан Мандић ; born June 16, 1994 in Kotor ) is a Serbian water polo player born in Montenegro . He first played for Montenegro before opting for Serbia. With the Serbian team, he won the gold medal at the 2015 World Swimming Championships . His club team is the Italian club Pro Recco in Liguria .

successes

Mandić won the World Water Polo League three times with Serbia : 2013 in Chelyabinsk, 2014 in Dubai and 2015 in Bergamo. He was also successful at the 2014 FINA Water Polo World Cup with his country in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

At the European Water Polo Championships in Belgrade in 2016 and in Budapest in 2014, his country was just as successful as at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, Russia. Only at the 2012 Olympics in London it was only enough to win a bronze medal, behind Croatia and Italy.
