Dušan Oršula (born August 23, 1979 in Brezno , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Slovak ski jumper .

Career

Oršula, who started for the LKS Dukla Banska Bystrica club, made his international debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in the 1997/98 season , where he started unsuccessfully and ended up only in 127th place overall. He made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup on January 30, 1999 in Willingen , where he reached eleventh place in team jumping with the team, which also included Martin Mesík . At the following individual World Cup in Harrachov , he jumped his personal best with 126 meters, but remained outside the points with 37th place. After jumping in the Summer Grand Prix, he started again in the Continental Cup the following season, where he never got above 127th place in the overall standings until 2002. His best single placement was 20th in Gallio on February 9, 2002.

At the ski flying world championship in Harrachov in 2002 , he clearly missed the second round with 47th place. After another unsuccessful year in the Continental Cup, he was used again in the World Cup on February 8, 2003 at the end of his career. He reached the 44th place in individual jumping in Willingen.
