The Duiveninsel is a small island of the archipelago of Raja Ampat off the coast of West New Guinea ( Indonesia ).

The Duiveninsel is located in the Dampierstrasse , northwest of the Vogelkop peninsula of New Guinea . The nearest neighbor is the Augusta Island in the northwest . Further to the north is the larger island of Mansuar , to the south, across the Dampier Strait, the island of Batanta , one of the main islands of the archipelago of Raja Ampat , to which the Duiven Island also belongs. This forms the administrative district of Raja Ampat in the province of West Papua .
