Dunstelkingen with the hamlet Hofen is part of the municipality of Dischingen in the district of Heidenheim . Until 1974 Dunstelkingen was an independent municipality.

Location and transport links

Dunstelkingen is located northeast of the center of Dischingen on the district roads K 3003 and K 3004.

The place is on the east of the Härtsfeld , a plateau in the east of the Swabian Alb .

Some remains of the moat still bear witness to the former Dunstelkingen Castle .
