The Hartsfeld family brewery Hald is a small brewery in the Swabian town of Dunstelkingen (municipality of Dischingen ). The annual production volume is around 35,000 hl.

history

The brewery was founded by Mathes Kemmerlin in Dunstelkingen in 1664. On April 30, 1839, the "property of Nicholas Wirth Egetenmaier here in was Exekutions-way sold to the highest bidder in the public Aufstreich". This foreclosure sale existed u. a. from "a two-storey business building with a brand new brewery, on which the right of the Schild-Wirthschaft rests with real rights". In a description of the location of Dunstelkingen in 1872, "a brewery with an inn" is also mentioned. In 1916 Friedrich Hald acquired the brewery and thus established today's brewing tradition of the Hald family. In 2000 the new building of the brewery bottling plant with a logistics warehouse, a beverage market and the administration was built. In 2003 the Hald family also took over the Kronenbrauerei R. Wahl KG from Gundelfingen . Two years later, the Hartsfeld brewery restaurant Hald was returned to the family business . The brewery is strongly committed to organic farming . She also signed a partnership with the Bioland association. Therefore, numerous organic beers (under the label Ökokrone ) are part of the brewery's range. The company's advertising slogan is “Care for regional beer culture”.
