Dusty Pearce

Dusty Pearce (born January 7, 1975 in Würzburg ) is a former American - German football player .

career

Pearce grew up in Gerbrunn , where his parents worked on a base of the US armed forces . He played soccer as a teenager before devoting himself to American football. Pearce made it to the top German league with the Nuremberg team Noris Rams . He then studied and played at Ricks College (later renamed Brigham Young University – Idaho) in Rexburg , Idaho, and in 1998 and 1999 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

In 2000 the 1.88 meter linebacker was under contract with Rhein Fire in the NFL Europe , moved to the World Bowl with the Düsseldorf team and won there at 13:10 against the Scottish Claymores at the end of June 2000 . He then played in the Bundesliga with the Munich Cowboys . With the German national team, he was second in the European Championship in 2000 and European Champion in 2001. In 2002 Pearce played for Frankfurt Galaxy in the NFL Europe.
