Duvier Orlando Riascos Barahona (born June 26, 1986 in Buenaventura ) is a Colombian football player who has been under contract with CR Vasco da Gama since the beginning of 2018 .

Career

Colombia and Venezuela

Riascos began his career as a professional footballer in 2005 with América de Cali , where he remained without a point game. His breakthrough came in the 2008/09 season at the Venezuelan first division club Estudiantes de Mérida , for which he completed 21 league appearances and scored a total of twelve goals. Back in Colombia, he played for América's city rivals Deportivo Cali .

Shanghai Shenhua FC

On February 1, 2010 it was announced that Riascos would switch to Chinese first division club Shanghai Shenhua Liansheng on loan . He made his league debut on March 27, in a 2-0 loss to Guangzhou FC . He scored his first goal for Shanghai in his second game on April 3 in a 2-1 win over Nanchang Bayi . In the same year he was named top scorer with 20 goals in 28 games and in addition to China's footballer of the year .

Puebla FC

On July 8, 2011, he was loaned to the Mexican first division club Puebla FC . He made his debut on July 23, 2011 against CF Atlas and scored his first goal in the game against CF Pachuca , which ended in a 2-2 draw. At the end of the season he had scored six goals in 16 games.

Club Tijuana

At the beginning of the Clausura 2012 Riascos moved to the league competitor Club Tijuana . With ten goals that Riascos scored in the Apertura 2012 , he was the Xolos' most successful goalscorer and thus played a major role in the surprising title win of the previous year's climber.

Return to South America

After further stints in Mexico and Brazil, Riascos returned to Colombia on loan in January 2017 and signed with Millonarios FC in Bogotá . With Millonarios he reached the semi-finals in the first half series, the Apertura 2017 , and was the top scorer of his team with seven goals. In the Finalización 2017 Riascos became Colombian champion with Millonarios. In January 2018 he was signed by his former loan club CR Vasco da Gama .
