Duvimioso Terra (born March 13, 1856 in Florida , † 1930 in Montevideo ) was a Uruguayan politician .

Terra, who has a doctorate in law, is the son of Duvimioso Terra and María Josefa Barboza, and successfully completed a law degree at the Universidad de la República (UdelaR). There he was later professor of civil and commercial law. He belonged to the Partido Nacional . During the presidency of Máximo Tajes, he served as minister in the departments of religion, justice and education. During the reign of Julio Herrera y Obes , he left the country for Argentina in October 1891. There he lived in Buenos Aires until 1897 and worked as a lawyer. Then he returned to Uruguay.

Terra was a member of the Asamblea Nacional Constituyente elected on June 30, 1916 . In the 25th, 26th and 27th legislative period he was a member of the Cámara de Representantes from February 15, 1914 to February 14, 1923 as a member of the Department of Montevideo . He was then in the 28, 29 and 30 legislative periods from April 22, 1925 until his death Senator for the Treinta y Tres Department . From 1925 to 1928 inclusive, he held the Senate presidency.

A street was named after him in Montevideo.
