Dwight Eddleman
Dwight Eddleman ( Thomas Dwight "Dike" Eddleman; born December 27, 1922 in Centralia , Illinois , † August 1, 2001 in Urbana , Illinois) was an American high jumper and basketball player .
In the high jump he qualified in 1948 as third in the US eliminations with his personal best of 2.01 m for the Olympic Games in London , in which he was fourth with 1.95 m.
As a student at the University of Illinois , he became an NCAA champion in 1948 .
From 1949 to 1953 he played in the National Basketball Association for the Tri-Cities Blackhawks and the Fort Wayne Pistons .
