From October 1953 a number of SW9s were built with the 567BC engine, and in December 1953 the Weyerhaeuser 305 was built with a 567C engine.

In addition, ten TR5 - Cow-Calve were produced (eight for the Union Pacific Railroad and two for the Union Railroad of Pittsburgh). With these shunting locomotives used in pairs, the cow had a driver's cab, but the Calve didn't. Union Railroad also bought two TR5B Calves .
