History of the ESK Graz

In 1921, the ESK Graz was founded as a workers 'football club, as the Eggenberg district is traditionally a workers' district. In the last few decades the club initially played in lower leagues (1st class, lower league). One of the greatest successes was participation in the Styrian regional league in the 1948/49 and 1949/50 seasons . In the 1980s, the fighting team played again in the regional league, which was then the third highest soccer league in Austria.
