Patrick Wolf (born May 4, 1981 in Graz ) is an Austrian football player on the position of midfielder .
life and career
Wolf began his career at the Graz club ESK Graz and came to FC Gratkorn via BNZ Sturm Graz and Grazer SC , with whom he was promoted to the second-class first division . The move to SV Ried for the 2005/06 season followed . Wolf played 21 Bundesliga games for Rieder. In the Bundesliga , he finished fourth with Ried and took part in the UI Cup . He then moved to FC Kärnten in 2006 , back to the First League, from where he moved to SK Austria Kärnten in 2007.
Tragic happened in 2008 when Wolf found his teammate Adam Ledwoń hanged in his apartment.
In January 2009 he moved to SC Magna Wiener Neustadt . Initially, the Styrian was committed for July, but he and Austria Kärnten decided to set the farewell in January.
At the beginning of January 2011, after long negotiations, Wolf signed a three-and-a-half year contract with SK Sturm Graz and on May 25, 2011 became Austrian football champions for the first time in his career with his new club.
On February 24, 2010, team boss Didi Constantini Wolf and his Wr.-Neustadt team-mate Mario Reiter nominated for the friendly international match against Denmark for the first time in the senior national team. By substitution, he made his team dress debut in this game on March 3, 2010.
In June 2014 he ended his career as a professional footballer and moved to the regional league club SV Allerheiligen . In his first season at SV Allerheiligen, he made 26 league appearances, two hits and one assist and finished the season with the team in a place in the middle of the table. After extending his expiring one-year contract for another year in June 2015, he started the 2015/16 season as a regular with the team and played eight league games, in which he scored four goals, before he met on September 11, 2015 seriously injured in a game against the amateurs of Wolfsberger AC . With a torn cruciate ligament, he was out for almost six months and should not be back in the official squad of the third division team until the start of the spring season.
