ESL European Nations Championship

The ESL European Nations Championship (kurn: ENC ) was an Electronic Sports League competition for national teams that took place from 2004 to 2010 . The aim of the tournament was to determine the best e-sports nation in Europe in the leading disciplines . The games Counter-Strike and Warcraft III were part of the program over the entire period .

The final took place every year in August at Gamescom in Cologne or at the Games Convention in Leipzig . By 2010, more than € 200,000 in prize money had been paid out at the European Nations Championship.

The tournament could be followed on the IPTV channel ESL TV .

Germany leads the all-time medal table of the European Nations Championship ahead of Sweden. The German team was particularly successful in the FIFA game , where it won four of the six competitions held.
