Etaneno is a 1999 by Erwin Gebert and Alfonso Hüppi built art museum and workshop in rural Namibia . It is located around 50 kilometers south of Otjiwarongo . The museum has been closed since the beginning of 2017.

Every year one or two groups of artists moved in for four weeks to work. The artist Alfonso Hüppi took over the artistic direction of the project. The plants initially remained with ETANENO. They later became the property of the Museum of New Art in Freiburg im Breisgau and the Namibian National Gallery in Windhoek .

Most recently, works by 23 artists from six countries were on view. Well-known participating artists were, in addition to the founders, among others Holger Bunk (November 1999 and November 2002, 2009) and Paul Wiedmer (November 2002).
