The East Hodgkinson River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland . It is located in the Far North Queensland region .

geography

River course

The river has its source about 50 km west of Cairns at the southern tip of the Hann Tableland National Park , part of the Great Dividing Range . It flows in many meanders to the northwest and flows into the Hodgkinson River about 15 km north of the settlement of Mount Mulligan .
