The population of East San Gabriel was 42.55% White , 1.85% Black or African American , 0.63% Native American , 40.47% Asian , 0.09% Pacific Islander , 10.12% said belonging to other races and 4.28% named two or more races. 23.52% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latinos of any race.
