Eberhard Hauschildt

Eberhard Hauschildt (born July 22, 1958 in Kiel ) is a Protestant university professor for practical theology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn .

Life

After studying (1977–1984) Protestant theology in Bethel (1977–1978), Tübingen (1978–1980), USA ( Yellow Springs and Gem City , 1980–1981) and Kiel (1982–1984) and the parish internship in 1981 ( 5 months) in Los Angeles in 1984 he passed the first theological exam at the North Elbian Evangelical Lutheran Church . During his doctoral studies (1984–1987) he was a research assistant (full position) at the Institute for Practical Theology, Chair Wolfgang Steck , Munich . After receiving his doctorate in 1987 with a thesis on Rudolf Bultmann's sermons (awarded the Prize of the Society of Friends and Patrons of the University of Munich in 1988 ), he completed the vicariate in Munich at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria from 1987 to 1989 . After the second theological exam in 1989, he was a research assistant at the Steck chair from 1989 to 1994 . He was ordained a pastor in 1991. After completing his habilitation in 1994 with a thesis on everyday pastoral care, he was senior assistant and private lecturer in Munich from 1994 to 1997 . Since 1997 he has been teaching as a professor for practical theology (pastoral care, diakonia and community development) at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Bonn .

Hauschild is married to an Ethiopian woman of the Ethiopian Orthodox denomination and has three children.
