Eberhard I. (Augsburg)
Eberhard I (origin and descent unknown; † 1047 ) was Bishop of Augsburg from 1029 to 1047.
Bishop Eberhard, also known as Eppo, was appointed the 26th Bishop of Augsburg by Emperor Konrad . In this office he distinguished himself particularly by promoting the monastic institutions of the diocese. In 1030 the bishop was visited by Kaiser, and Count Heinrich von Wirtemberg was also present.
